Naue Platform Software for the design of working platforms and hardstands
By using the Naue Platform Software, you can design base course thicknesses for Secugrid® or Combigrid® stabilised and reinforced base courses in different applications such as working platforms for tracked plants (e.g. piling rigs), hardstands for cranes and heavy equipment, storage areas, etc.
The “Hybrid” model, as implemented in the software, allows the design of working platforms and hardstands over cohesive subgrades against different probable failure modes such as punching, rotational and overall failure mechanisms. The adapted model can automatically identify the decisive failure mechanism and determine the base course thickness to withstand the most critical situation. In addition, using the Naue Platform software, the immediate deformation, differential settlements and the equipment inclination caused by the operational loads can be estimated.
The result of the calculation allows a direct comparison between Secugrid® & Combigrid® stabilised and reinforced base courses and the conventional construction method without geosynthetics.
